She considers it a privilege to support families through one of life’s most difficult moments, helping them say goodbye with love, dignity and peace.

Understanding a Gentle Goodbye

Home euthanasia allows your pet to spend their final moments where they feel safest, at home, surrounded by the people they love.

Away from the unfamiliar sights, sounds and smells of a veterinary clinic, they can remain in a familiar and peaceful environment.

There is no rush. You have the time, privacy and space to say goodbye in your own way.

Comfort. Dignity. Familiarity. Love.

The Comfort of Saying Goodbye at Home

Less Stress

No stressful travel or unfamiliar clinic environment.

Together

AT YOUR PACE

What to expect

There is no rush.

  1. A veterinarian greeting a dog at the front door of a home

    When I arrive

There is no rush. I’ll take time to talk you through the process and answer any questions. We’ll only begin when you and your pet are comfortable and you feel ready.

  2. A golden dog resting on a soft blanket in a warm room

    Sedation

Your pet will receive gentle sedation, allowing them to become deeply relaxed and comfortable while surrounded by the people and things they love.

  3. A tabby cat resting on a blanket with a gentle hand beside them

    Peaceful passing

Once your pet is peacefully sleeping and you are ready, the final medication will be given, allowing them to pass gently and without awareness.

  4. A ceramic pet urn, a photograph and flowers in a warm home setting

    Aftercare

There is always time to say goodbye. When you are ready, I will respectfully assist with your chosen aftercare and memorial arrangements.

Aftercare

What happens next?

After your pet has passed, there are several aftercare options available. I can gently guide you through each choice and help arrange everything on your behalf, if you wish.

Private cremation

Your pet is individually cremated and their ashes are returned to you, with a choice of memorial options.

Communal cremation

Your pet is respectfully cremated alongside other beloved pets. Ashes are not returned.

Home burial /
your own arrangements

Where appropriate, you may choose to keep your pet with you and make your own aftercare arrangements.
